Di Matteo kocha mpya Schalke

 
Klabu ya Ujerumani ya Schalke wamemteua kocha wa zamani wa Chelsea na West Bromwich Albion, Roberto Di Matteo kuwa kocha wao.

Di Matteo (44) anachukua nafasi ya Jens Keller kutokana na timu ya klabu hiyo kuanza vibaya msimu wa Bundesliga mwaka huu.

Schalke wanashika nafasi ya 11 kwenye msimamo wa ligi kuu nchini mwao, wakiwa na pointi nane tu kutokana na mechi saba, ambapo wameshinda mara mbili tu.

Katika Ligi ya Mabingwa Ulaya (UCL), Schalke wanashika nafasi ya tatu, ambapo walipocheza Stamford Bridge walikwenda sare ya 1-1 na Chelsea.
Di Matteo atawaongoza Schalke dhidi ya klabu yake hiyo ya zamani kwenye mechi ya marudiano nchini Ujerumani Novemba 25.

Keller alikuwa bosi wa Schalke tangu Desemba 2012, lakini walitolewa kwenye Kombe la Ujerumani na SG Dynamo Dresden walio daraja la tatu mapema msimu huu na mechi yake ya mwisho alishuhudia wakifungwa
2-1 na Hoffenheim wikiendi iliyopita.

Hii ni kazi ya kwanza ya Di Matteo tangu alipofukuzwa kazi na Chelsea Novemba 2012. Alichukua nafasi hiyo kama kaimu pale Chelsea walipomfukuza kazi Andre Villas-Boas Machi 2012.

Aliwaongoza Chelsea kutwaa ubingwa wa Ulaya na Kombe la FA na kupewa ukocha wa kudumu lakini msimu uliofuata walikwenda vibaya, akafukuzwa na nafasi yake kuchukuliwa na Rafa Benitez kwa mpito hadi Jose Mourinho aliporejea msimu uliopita kutoka Real Madrid.
