Simba SC coach `not worried` by Enyimba

Simba coach Milovan Cirkovic claims he is not worried by Enyimba of Nigeria.

The teams will meet in the next round of the African Champions League in between March 22 and 23.

The Dar es Salaam team qualified for the next round after achieving a 4-1 aggregate over Awasa of Ethiopia, while the Nigerian Club won 3-2 away at Congo`s Diables Noirs in Brazzaville to complete a 7-3 aggregate triumph.

The Serbian coach said he was worried most by the on going Vodacom Premier League than playing Enyimba.

“We are not focusing on Enyimba. What we are targeting is to perform well in the league so that we qualify for one of the CAF tournaments next year,“ he said.

“Enyimba is one of the best clubs in the continent, but that can not stop us from playing them.

We must make sure that we do well in the local league so that even if they will eliminate us, we can still play them next year,“ he added.

Cilkovic admitted that the Mainland League was very tough as it needed a lot of concentration than their match against the West African club.

Simba, who hit Ashanti United 4-0, are in the third position with 33 points.

Yanga lead the 14-team league on 40 points followed by Prisons on 36.
