COACHES COURSE FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS OPENS IN MOROGORO.

An intensive one week volleyball coaching course began on Monday in  Morogoro

The course is held at Morogoro Secondary School  for theory sessions ad Bwalo volleyball courts for the practicals.

The course tailored for sports teachers in secondary schools are organized by Tanzania Volleyball Association TAVA is part of its nationwide program in developing its coaches and officials in the next five years.

The course which has all the blessings of CAVB and FIVB is being conducted by a local instructor Somo Kimwaga  who is also a national youth coach.

The course is expected to end on Saturday will officially be closed by the Regional Commissioner Ndugu Joel Bendera.

Meanwhile preparations for the forthcoming National Club Championship 2012 are in a full swing

This year’s National Club Championship expects to attract more than 16 teams from different corners of the country.

Among the leading top clubs includes Prisons, current club champions Mzinga  team of Morogoro, Jeshi  Stars,  Geita Gold Mines and  Dodoma Lutheran Church.

Winners from the national club championship will represent the country in the next year’s Continental  Club  Championships.
