Vodacom Tanzania now injects 600m/- in Miss Tanzania 2008

VODACOM Tanzania will use more than 600m/- to sponsor this year`s Miss Tanzania, the Head of Sponsorships and Communications, Ephraim Mafuru, announced yesterday.

“I`m very happy to inform you that Vodacom is the main sponsor of this year’s Miss Tanzania beauty contest. This is the third time we are sponsoring this event. We have been increasing our sponsorship package every year,“ Mafuru said.

He said their sponsorship would start from the grassroots to national levels.

The Co-ordinator of Miss Tanzania, Hashim Lundenga, who is also Managing Director of Lino International Agency, commended Vodacom for the support and promised that money would be used in the right way.

“It is obvious that since Vodacom started sponsoring this pageant, the standard of the competition has risen significantly,“ Lundenga said.
