The much awaited final match between title holders Prisons and Jeshi Stars ended with Prisons retaining the trophy.
Jeshi Stars volleyball team were crushed to novices by the Prisons in a one sided match.
The Dar es Salaam derby saw the title holders Prisons easily taking the first set with 25 by 17.
The second and final sets were like a hot knife through butter as the Prisons easily beat the Army team Jeshi Stars to the disappointment of the their fans who travelled all the way to Morogoro to witness the final game.
This year’s national Club Championship gathered together 10 teams with three ladies team who played in a home and away systems to get the winner. Jeshi Stars womens team clinched the trophy in the womens category.

Other teams which took part in the National Club Championship included Prisons, Jeshi Stars, Mzinga Club former Union champions, Morogoro Stars, Kilimanjaro Stars from Moshi, Dodoma Stars from Dodoma , Kijichi Stars from Dar es Salaam, Morogoro Stars ladies and Prisons ladies
Both clubs Prisons men and Jeshi Stars ladies will represent Tanzania in the next years Continental tournaments.
