TFF summons clubs to resolve disputed players

Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has summoned officials of all clubs whose layers have been disputed with regard to transfers.

The officials are suppose to report at the federation’s offices in Dar es Salaam today to discuss on the ways to ease transfers ahead of the Mainland premier soccer league kick off.

The club officials are required to attend the meeting which has been convened by TFF legal and players’ status committee under the chairmanship of Alex Mgongolwa starting at noon.

The clubs officials are suppose to attend the meeting while carrying all of the relevant documents.

The meeting will involve officials from  Azam, African Lyon, Flamingo, JKT Ruvu, Kagera Sugar, Oljoro JKT, Police Mara, Rolling Stone Multipurpose Ateclass Foundation, Simba, Super Falcon, Toto Africa, Villa Squad and Yanga.

Meanwhile, the TFF has congratulated   Kigoma Region Football Association (KRFA) after successful elections to install new office bearers.

The soccer federation has ensured a continued support to the Kigoma football officials.

Omari Saleh Mkwarulo was voted into power for the first time. The new officials have many challenges, including football promotion in the region.

TFF has been impressed by the progress of the trouble-free elections that saw the following leaders voted power.

Besides the chairman, Issa Bukuku was elected as secretary general, Ahmed Msafiri Mgoyi (a representative member of the TFF executive meeting) and Mohamed Nassoro (a clubs representative in the TFF assembly).

Assistant secretary and vice-chairman posts will be filled in a mini election to be decided by the new office bearers.
