Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) came from behind to beat Simba 2-1 in a Tusker Cup semi final match played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam yesterday.
The tax collectors side will play the final with a team which will win today in the semi final match between Mtibwa Sugar and Tusker FC of Kenya.
This is the second time URA are eliminating Simba. The Ugandan side defeated Simba 1-0 in the same stage in a Kagame Cup match played on the same ground in July.
In yesterday`s game, Simba used four minutes only to score the lone goal when Henry Joseph connected home a Ulimboka Mwakingwe cross.
Tonny Mawejje levelled for URA in the 44th minute after beating Ramadhani Wasso before Eric Obua used Ismail Kigozi`s pass to beat custodian Deo Mushi in the 52nd.
Simba will now vie for third place with the team which will lose today.
Champions of the tournament sponsored by Tusker will be awarded 40m/- while first and second runners-up will be awarded 20m/- and 10m/-, respectively.
