Simba hammer Benadir

Simba hit Benadir of Somalia 5-0 in Kagame Cup Group `A` match played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam yesterday.

Mussa Hassan `Mgosi` who scored with a hat trick, registered the first in the 44th minute when he connected a Juma Jabu`s cross to beat goalie Francis Otieno.

The second goal was scored in the 62nd by Adam Kingwande who used well Mgosi`s pass before Ulimboka Mwakingwe scored the third in the 68th.

Mgosi scored the other two goals in the 71st and 88th minutes, respectively.

Simba who were defeated by Tusker of Kenya 3-2 in the opening match last Saturday, will play their last match in the group on Sunday, against Burundi`s Vital’O who defeated Tusker 3-1. Benadir hit Vital`O 2-1.

Simba lead the group with more scoring goals despite the fact that they all tie on three points each.
