Ngasa double earns Yanga vital victory

Young Africans (Yanga) came from behind to beat Pan African 2-1 in a Vodacom Premier League match played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam yesterday.

Saidi Dilunga scored the lone goal for Pan Africa in the 34th minute before Mrisho Ngasa doubled for the Jangawani Street side.

Ngasa used an Abdi Kassim’s pass to score the first goal in the 38th minute before using a Jerry Tegete`s pass to add the second in the 65th.Yanga now lead the 14-team league with 43 points out of 21 games.

Prisons that are set to host Kagera Sugar at the Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya on Sunday are second with 38 points.

Yanga`s archrivals Simba are in the third slot with 36 points.

Prisons is the only team among the top teams which have so far played 22 matches while Simba have played the same matches as Yanga.
