I am seeking input and general advice on how a country such as Tanzania can go about developing capacity so as to be able to send players overseas and be accepted. What are the key building blocks in your view etc?
Also I would like your opinion, on other ways to improve Tanzanian football including if there are ways to work with the Tanzania Government in order to set up exchange programmes like the one Manchester United did to South Africa and Nigeria for friendly matches during the summer break.
The President of Tanzania, the Hon Jakaya Kikwete, is a sports fanatic, and am confident with good planning and arguments he can support such initiatives and see them through to implementation. I have engaged with his office on various initiatives around sports development.
Looking forward to hear from you if you have any advice.

Dear Mr Isreal,
Good morning Mr Isreal, how are you? Hope fine. My name is Ima Obong Anwana (Miss) I am a Football Manager, I was going through some websites online, searching for some informations and I went through the Tanzania Sport to get more information about their sport, just because I should be having some affairs with a Tanzania Football Clubs. Immediately I got a message from a website called tanzaniasporst.com that is where I found your phone number and your email address.
Although as I said earlier wrong, I am a Footbal Manager based in Nigeria, I also owned a football club, just like an Amateur club, I do trained players and loand them out to Nigerian Premier League Clubs, National Div 1 League clubs in Nigeria for professional Development. Then when it is the moment of the International Transfer season, I take them to clubs abroad for trials. I have players in Cyprus, players in Turkey, players in Tunisia, players in Sweden also players in somes Asian countries as well.
So now I really do not understand why Tanzanian Football players are not playing abroad. I know I can be of help to you, and to the Tanzanian National Team Players. Now for me to be of helpto the tanzanian National Team players, I will first of all travel to Tanzania and see how their Football look like, then I will decide on what to do. You should know that Nigerian players are one of the best players in the world today.
By the Grace of God, I should be in Tanzania before the end of this month with 4 football players for trials. Also I am interested in Using Tanzania as a transit country for Nigerian football players to come and plain with Tanzania football players then I transfered these players after 1 or 2 years.
I could have love my team to participate for the CECAFA competition, but it is too late for that. my team is called LA PAIX DU FOOTBALL CLUB, when is CECAFA Competition coming up again? I have been inviting agents from european countries to come and get the best of my players in Nigeria.
So why can I do the same in Tanzania? I am ready to involve my self as a Football Manager. If there is any competition coming up soon, then I can organise some Player’s Agents to come for the competition. We are in the transfer season.
Mr Isreal, I know you are very much serious in getting some players out of Tanzania. But do not rush, I have to see the players and see what they can produce, it is not a matter of taken players to where you know their Football will not fit the team you are taking them to. I think you have Player’s Agents in your country, may be they may not have the links abroad to take players, or they don’t know how to discover talents.
What do you think of my message to you? Get back to me as soon as possible. Read and understand my point but if you have any question let me know. I am very much happy to have you as a partner. What about you? Let work together as a Team to make things easy. Please find here my contacts details:
