Two more pass Fifa Players Agent exam

Two people have passed an examination to become FIFA Players Agent in Tanzania.

They are among five candidates who did the examination on Thursday at the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) headquarters at Karume, Dar es Salaam.

TFF Information Officer Florian Kaijage named them yesterday as Yusuph Bakheressa and Said Tuli.

Kaijage said that the two were required to have Liability Insurance in the period of six months from the date they did the examination.

“The task which faces them now is to secure Liability Insurance which is going to assist them in paying compensation when something goes wrong,“ Kaijage said.

“Tanzania will benefit from them because they will market our soccer abroad by taking local players for professionals,“ he added.

Medy Rehmtulla and Damas Ndumbaro are currently the qualified FIFA Players Agents in the country.

I have been involved with sports in Tanzania as a Volleyball Coach for many years—and was a Tanzania Amateur Volleyball Association (TAVA) leader. I studied sports management at Leipzig University in Germany and understand the science behind sports. That led me to work as a football pundit, with the BBC ( Swahili service) in London. That experience and exposure took me to covering the 2010, World Cup in South Africa. This provided me with a great insight into international level football commentary and the opportunity to carry out extensive research into the game including its players, the stadiums, the rules and tactics.I have also been grateful to meet a wide range of people connected to football in the UK, Tanzania, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, France, Kenya etc, and visited almost all of the key football stadiums across United Kingdom, and Europe.
