Tanzania yaanza vibaya Olimpiki

Tanzania jana ilianza vibaya Michezo ya 29 ya Olimpiki inayofanyika Beijing, China baada ya waogeleaji wake kutupwa nje ya michezo hiyo.

Katika mchezo wa kuogelea Tanzania iliwakilishwa na wachezaji wawili ambao ni Khalida Rushaka kwa upande wa wanaume na Magdalena Alex Moshi kwa upande wa wanawake, ambao wote kwa pamoja walikuwa wakiogelea aina moja ya mitindo huru `Free Style` mita 100.

Waogeleaji hao wameshindwa kufurukuta baada ya kukutana na wataalamu wa kuogelea, ambapo Moshi alishindwa hata kuingia hatua ya pili huku Rushaka akitupwa nje ya mchezo huo kama ilivyokuwa kwa mwenzake.

Kwa upande wa wanawake Coughlin Natalia wa Marekani aliweza kushika nafasi ya kwanza na kujihakikishia kucheza fainali leo huku Trickett Lisbeth kutoka Australia akishika nafasi ya pili na nafasi ya tatu ilikwenda kwa Vingwen Zhu wa China.

Kwa upande wa waogeleaji wanaume mitindo huru Suillivan Eamon wa Australia aliweza kushika nafasi ya kwanza na kujihakishia hatua ya fainali huku Vanden Hoogen Band Pieter wa Netheland aliweza kuchukua nafasi ya pili na nafasi ya tatu ilikwenda kwa Targett Matt wa Australia.

Tanzania itajaribu tena bahati yake siku ya Jumapili kwa wanariadha wake wa mita 10,000, Samwe Kwang`w , Dickson Marwa na Fabian Joseph kuanza kuanza kufukuza upepo, ambapo matumaini makubwa ya watanzania yatakuwa hapo.

Katika michezo hiyo Tanzania imewakilishwa na timu mbili ambazo ni ya kuogelea na timu ya riadha, ambapo hadi sasa haijafanikiwa kupata medali hata moja huku Zimbabwe ikiongoza kwa upande wa timu za Afrika kwa kujinyakulia medali tatu za shaba kwa upande wa waogeleaji.
