Taifa Stars are expected to play against Zimbabwe in a friendly international in Dar es Salaam on February 11.
The Tanzania Football Federation`s information officer, Florian Kaijage, said the match is a final build up ahead of their CHAN participation in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Kaijage said Zimbabwe FA has confirmed to play the match.
Stars will start residential camp on February 3 in Dar es Salaam and the training would not interfere with Yanga`s preparations to play in their African champions league return legmatch against Etoile d`Or Mirontsy of Comoros set between February 13 and 14.
Yanga have the bulk of national team players but Kaijage said communications will be made to facilitate their smooth release for national team`s assignments.
CHAN tourney will kick off in Abidjan on February 22 to March 8 with Stars pooled in Group A that has the hosts Ivory Coast, Zambia and Senegal while Zimbabwe have been placed in Group B with Ghana, Libya and DRC.
