Eurosport –

Arsenal are one of a number of European clubs to have made an offer for Marseille playmaker Samir Nasri, the player’s agent has confirmed.

The France international recently outlined his desire to leave OM and experience another European league, and the Gunners have been heavily linked with the 20-year-old.

Jean-Pierre Bernes, Nasri’s agent, revealed his client is mulling over an offer from the Gunners.

But he insists no deal has yet been reached, with other leading European clubs also interested in signing Nasri.

“It is true, we are looking at an offer from Arsenal which interests Samir from a sporting point of view,” Bernes told French daily La Provence.

“But other offers have also come through to me. Outside of England, there are those from Spain and even Italy.

“He must not dismiss any offer.”

But Bernes added: “Nothing has been done. He hasn’t signed anything.”

Nasri was on Sunday named in France’s provisional 30-man squad for next month’s European Championships.

The group will be trimmed to 23 players next Wednesday and Nasri still is not sure of a place in the travelling party.

After spending three days in Marrakech with the OM squad, Nasri linked up with his Les Bleus colleagues at their training camp at Clairefontaine, a village just outside Paris, yesterday.

Bernes maintains Nasri is focusing for the moment on securing his place in France’s final squad for the Euros.

“We are no hurry,” he added.

“From now on, Samir is on international duty and he is going to dedicate himself to the France team.

“He is going to do all he can get in the group of 23 called up for the Euros.”

Nasri indicated at the weekend that he could have played his last game for Marseille.

He scored one of the goals, a superb left-foot volley, as OM beat Strasbourg 4-3 to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Questioned after the match about his future, Nasri said: “I don’t know.

“If this is to be my last match at the Stade Velodrome, I gave my all. But I am still not sure if it is my last match.

“It (qualifying for the Champions League) isn’t the condition for me staying or leaving.”
