Gabon mwenyeji AFCON 2017

*Tanzania mdomoni mwa Nigeria

Wakati Gabon wakiteuliwa kuwa wenyeji wa michuano ya Kombe la Mataifa ya Afrika (AFCON) 2017, Tanzania wametupwa kundi la kifo katika kufuzu.

Tanzania wapo Kundi G na wababe wa Afrika – Nigeria na Misri pamoja na timu dhaifu ya Chad. Gabon walikuwa wenyeji wenza na Guinea ya Ikweta kwenye fainali za 2012.

Kikao cha Kamati Kuu ya Shirikisho la Soka Afrika (CAF) kilichokaa Cairo, Misri Jumatano hii kimewachagua Gabon, ambapo Algeria na Ghana waliokuwa wakiwania wameikosa nafasi hiyo.

Wenyeji wa awali, Libya, waliokumbwa na vita ya wenyewe kwa wenyewe iliyosababisha soka kukwama, walijitoa mwaka jana kuandaa mashindano hayo.

Michuano hiyo itachezwa kwenye miji ya Libreville na Franceville iliyotumika 2012, lakini pia ipo miji ya Port Gentil na Oyem ambako viwanja vitakuwa tayari ndani ya miezi 14 ijayo.

Mechi za kufuzu kwa michuano hiyo mikubwa zaidi AFrika itaanza Juni mwaka huu, ikishirikisha timu 52 kati ya timu za nchi wanachama 54. Somalia na Eritrea hawatashiriki.

Kundi A litakuwa na timu za Tunisia, Togo, Liberia na Djibouti, kundi B ni Jamhuri ya Kidemokrasi ya Kongo, Angola, Jamuri ya Afrika ya Kati na Madagascar.

 

Kundi C: Mali, Guinea ya Ikweta, Benin, Sudan Kusini

 

Kundi D: Burkina Faso, Uganda, Botswana, Komoro

 

Kundi E: Zambia, Kongo, Kenya, Guinea Bissau

 

Kundi F: Cape Verde, Morocco, Libya, Sao Tome

 

Kundi G: Nigeria, Misri, Tanzania, Chad

 

Kundi H: Ghana, Msumbiji, Rwanda, Mauritius

 

Kundi I: Ivory Coast, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Gabon

 

Kundi J: Algeria, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Ushelisheli

 

Kundi K: Senegal, Niger, Namibia, Burundi

 

Kundi L: Guinea, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Swaziland

 

Kundi M: Cameroon, Afrika Kusini, Gambia, Mauritania
