EPL yaanza kupata sura

Ligi Kuu ya England (EPL) imeanza kupata mwelekeo baada ya timu nyingi kumaliza raundi ya nne, baadhi kupata ushindi wa kwanza, ikiwamo Manchester United.

Katika mechi za wikiendi hii, Man U waliwachabanga Queen Park Rangers (QPR) 4-0 kwa mabao ya mchezaji mpya, Angel Di Maria, Ander Herrera, Wayne Rooney na Juan Mata.

Baada ya ushindi huo, Kocha Louis van Gaal amesema sasa anawania kutwaa ubingwa wa England msimu huu wala si nafasi tatu za juu kama alivyokuwa amesema awali, lakini QPR ni timu dhaifu ambayo haijafanya vizuri msimu huu.

Katika hali ya kushangaza, Aston Villa waliwanyuka Liverpool 1-0 kwa bao la Gabriel Agbonlahor kwenye dimba la Anfield na kumwacha kocha Brendan Rodgers akiweweseka.

Rodgers ambaye kiangazi hiki alimuuza Luis Suarez kwa Barcelona na kusajili wachezaji wengi, hajaweza kuziba pengo hilo, na kuumia kwa Daniel Sturridge kulimwongezea maumivu ambapo ameilaumu Timu ya Taifa ya England kwani aliumia akiwa kwenye mazoezi yao.

Katika mechi nyingine, Arsenal walitoshana nguvu na Manchester City kwa mabao 2-2, Chelsea wakawanyuka Swansea 4-2 ambapo Diego Costa alifunga mabao matatu, Crystal Palace wakaenda 0-0 na Burnley huku Southampton wakiwapukutisha Newcastle 4-0.

Matokeo zaidi ni Stoke kulala 1-0 kwa Leicester, Sunderland na Tottenham kutoshana nguvu 2-2 na West Bromwich Albion kufungwa 2-0 na Everton hivyo Chelsea wanaongoza kwa pointi 12 wakifuatiwa na Villa wenye 10, Swansea tisa, Southampton saba sawa na Spurs wakati Arsenal na Liverpool wana sita kila moja.

Nafasi tatu za mwisho zinashikwa na Burnley waliopanda daraja msimu huu na wana pointi mbili sawa na West Brom na Newcastle. Hull watacheza na West Ham leo kukamilisha mzunguko wa nne.
