Formers Simba SC coach Neider Dos Santos is in the country to sign a contract to train the newly promoted Azam FC.
Azam official Nassor Idrissa `Father`, said yesterday that the Brazilian arrived in the country on Monday at 3pm.
Dos Santos left Simba in 2006 when he noticed that he could not be able to cope up which the club’s leaders – chairman Hassan Dalali and Mwina Kaduguda (secretary-general).
Idrissa said that they were still negotiating with the coach. “We are still negotiating with him, we will let you know when the contract will be signed,“ Idrissa said.
Azam and Villa Squad are new in the 12-team league sponsored by Vodacom. Azam is currently trained by Sylvester Marsh and Habibu Kondo.
Azam have won once out of two matches they have played in the league so far.
They were beaten by Moro United 3-2 in their first match before beating Polisi Dodoma 1-0.
