It is with the greatest delight that I offer both my personal congratulations and those of everyone involved with The Football Association on your marriage.

The FA considers it a great honour and privilege that you are able to serve as our President and as such takes great pride and pleasure in witnessing both yours and Catherine’s happiness.

I wish you both a very long, happy and healthy life together and we very much look forward to welcoming you both to a match here at Wembley very soon.
