Champagne kuwavaa Blatter, Prince Ali

Mtifuano ndani ya Shirikisho la Soka la Kimataifa (Fifa) unaendelea, ambapo Mfaransa Jerome Champagne amesema anaendelea na mipango yake ya kuwania urais.
Champagne amejitokeza siku moja tu baada ya Makamu wa Rais wa Fifa (Asia Magharibi), Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein kutangaza kumvaa Rais Sepp Blatter anayetetea kiti hicho kwa mara ya tano.
Champagne (56) alitangaza uamuzi wake mwaka mmoja uliopita na ilidhaniwa kwamba kujiingiza kwenye kinyang’anyiro kwa Prince Ali (39) kungemfanya Champagne aondoke ili kura zisigawanyike mara tatu, na ingekuwa rahisi zaidi kumwondosha Blatter (78).

Champagne alipoulizwa iwapo angeachana na mipango hiyo Jumanne hii alisema kwamba hawezi kuondoka kwa sababu ni yeye pekee mwenye mipango ya kina ya kuinusuru Fifa.
Mwanadiplomasia huyo wa Ufaransa alimtaka Prince Ali ambaye ni kiongozi wa soka wa Jordan, kuweka wazi mipango yake.
“Tunahitaji kujua programu zake zaidi ya kuzungumza tu kwa makeke na kusema anataka kuondoa urasimu wa kiofisi na kurejesha soka uwanjani,” akasema Champagne aliyekuwa Fifa 1998 na kuondoka 2010.

Wagombea wa uchaguzi utakaofanyika Mei 29 mwaka huu wanatakiwa kutangaza nia yao kabla ya Januari 29.
Champagne ameshatoa mikakati yake mizito, ikiwa ni pamoja na kuweka kiwango fulani cha wachezaji wa kigeni kwenye ligi na pia kubadili kitabu cha kanuni za soka
Blatter ni kiongozi wa tatu wa Fifa kukaa madarakani kwa muda mrefu zaidi, kwani alishika hatamu hizo 1998. Jules Rimet aliiongoza Fifa kwa miaka 33 tangu 1921 wakati Mbrazili Joao Havelange alikaa hapo kwa miaka 24.
