Tanzania beat Chad in Ndjamena

Goals by Mrisho Ngassa and Nurdin Bakari strike gave Taifa Stars a 2-1 away win against Chad on Friday in Ndjamena in a pre world cup qualifier.
Stars took the the lead on 12 minutes through Ngassa who broke the offside trap to score off a Nizar Khalfan cross. Chad equalised three minutes later through free kick by Karim Yaya after Labo Mahamat was fouled by Ngassa who was booked for the offence.

Stars midfielder Nurdin Bakari scored the winning goal for Tanzania eight minutes from time to help tanzania put one foot into the group stages.
Coach Danish Jan Poulsen was delighted with the result, “It was a good win for my side and also good start in this stage, but we have to fight and make sure we finish well in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday. But I’m satisfied with the way they played and that’s why I was expecting a positive results.”
If Stars qualify they will join group C team which involves Ivory Coast, Gambia and Morocco.

Chad:Brie Mbaya, Asselimo Massama, Douban Felix, Ndoussel Ezekiel, Karim Yaya, Labo Mahamat, Gassina Ferdinand, Douman Herman, Hassan Hussein Hassan, Karl Max Wadar and Djerabo Armando.
